The RAM telescopic bollard is one of our best-selling security posts. It is a proven deterrent against vehicle theft and ram attacks, protecting residential driveways and motor dealer forecourts alike.

Three sizes are available, each increasing in diameter and height:

76mm x 580mm: A compact option for most domestic driveways.
90mm x 670mm: A sturdier post with a stronger visual presence.
114mm x 850mm: The largest size, suited to forecourts and higher-risk sites.

To secure it, raise the post and press the integral push-button lock in its stainless steel top. When you need access, unlock it with the key and lower it into its galvanised casing, where a flush lid closes over the top.

Choose plain galvanised or a powder-coated finish in various colours. Every bollard comes with two high-security keys, keyed alike or to differ.

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 working days by emailing sales@bisonsecurityposts.co.uk or calling 01708 956833. Cancellations and amendments must be made within 24 hours of placing your order.

Each order is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in excellent condition. If anything is damaged during transit, please report it within 24 hours of receipt. All products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Our fully insured team installs bollards throughout London and the South East. Choose “Install for me”, enter your postcode, and the installation cost will be added to your order at checkout (if you’re eligible).

For locations outside the South East of England, please contact us directly to enquire about installation.

As well as bulk discounts on bollards, we also offer reduced installation rates for multiple units: £240 for one telescopic bollard, £210 each for two, and £180 per unit for three or more.

Please note that the cost may increase slightly if you're ordering one of heavier duty models or our site assessment identifies any additional complexities (e.g. removing old posts, breaking through reinforced concrete, reinstating block paving, or working around underground cables).

How many bollards do I need?

As a general rule, the number required depends on the width of your opening:

Up to 3.2m: 1 bollard
Up to 4.8m: 2 bollards
Up to 6.4m: 3 bollards
Up to 8m: 4 bollards
Up to 9m: 5 bollards
