These safety photocells stop an automatic bollard from moving while a vehicle or person is in its path. Supplied as a matched transmitter and receiver, they send an infrared beam between them, and if anything breaks it, the bollard holds its position.

At just 110mm x 33mm x 33mm, the Compacta is one of the smallest photocells available, so it sits neatly on walls, piers, or posts. The head adjusts through 180° horizontally to suit surfaces that aren’t perfectly aligned, and the click-on cover and rear or bottom cable entry help keep water out. Mounts are sold separately.
