khp1-removable-hitch-post
KHP1 Removable Hitch Post with Tow Ball

The KHP1 is a removable hitch post that secures trailers, caravans, horseboxes, and any vehicle with a standard 50mm towing hitch. It provides a fixed, ground-anchored point to lock your hitch onto, making it much harder for thieves to tow your trailer or caravan away.

A 50mm tow ball sits on top of the post. Reverse onto it, lower the hitch onto the ball, and secure it with your hitch lock. The post itself is locked into its ground spigot with the supplied PP10 high-security discus padlock.

When you need the space clear, unlock the padlock and twist the post out of its spigot. A hinged cover plate then closes flush with the ground, keeping out debris and eliminating any trip hazard. The spigot is concreted just 290mm into the ground.

Made from 63mm heavy-duty steel tube with a 3mm wall, the post stands 415mm above ground and is zinc plated to resist corrosion.

Please note: the hitch lock is not included.
